Wow, what a sad plight. I think they should advertise to find someone in the area with emus who lay eggs - real ones. If they substituted a real emu egg for the ball, he would have some company when the egg hatched and wouldn't have to be lonely any more! ( Then we could add "...and they lived happily ever after.
