Rocky Road-love it as an Ice Cream Flavor, not so much for snowmobiling

Spring Thaw has arrived. What I noticed so often were the sounds....this time not of other snowmobilers but of water running. Without the snow acting as a muffler, every sound was more noticeable. Even heard a little hoot owl. He scared the bejeebers out of me! Although the river didn't look that much different, and the lake was not much changed, there is a lot of water moving off the mountains. A creek was running along the barrow pit and pretty little falls were trickling everywhere.
These guys were ready to roll! The snow was like a great big slushy, so they were slowed down quite a bit, and they became our soggy-bottom kids!

Do ya think that the road was a bit rough??

I was way behind on your blog and was it ever fun to read your new posts. It leaves a warm happy feeling in me to think of your full well rounded creative life. What a neat roof over the camper to keep it from caving in from the snow load. You must have some mountain land...? Soon your dad and Elaine will be in Riverton. It will be great to see them again. Love, Bonnie
