Well the boys were not left out in the rain at all but it took the rain for Fireball to decide that he would go ahead and try out this new Gothic goat house. It has larger sleeping bunks, more head room for our growing scooper outers, and it should hold up better to the elements. Grant cut out and sanded many of the windows. Do you see the goatness of the end window? (Shaped somewhat like a goat hoof.)
Our neighbor Steve asked Gentry if he thought they would like it and Gentry said, "No, they won't like the change. Change is bad." Fireball
definitely did not anyway. Cobalt was his usual easy-going self, just enjoying the attention and feed.
The supply side...the kids can easily put the hay through the back window.
And a little something extra is a "Renaissance Goat" painting.

Hey, great replacement! Looks more goatish. What other goat in the world has an "original" gracing his quarters? Fireball will ultimately find the change a blessing. (Isn't there a spiritual lesson there?)
Great galloping goats! What a good looking goat house. I like the hooflike windows and gothic look....I think it would look better with a tile roof...we are into tile roofs in Arizona! Did you say there are bunks inside? Is this, like, somewhere Gent can go when he is in the "goat house"?
Anyway, thanks for the update.

By the way, did you paint the goat picture? It looks a lot like Cobalt.

Well, now we feel better knowing the goats have new lodging!! How NEAT. I definitely think Elaine painted Mr. Goat! Well done all four of you!!!
I should have had Gent put a big one in for times when he needs his own space! Ha. And yes, I did get a chance to paint, by my husbands suggestion so I couldn't let the opportunity pass me by. Fun! It is not perfect but I couldn't get too picky with the lousy canvas I had to work with. (excuse!)
Do your goats know that they are spoiled?! Hey, when people compliment you on your great talent like painting...just say-Thanks!:) You are a great Artisit.
Thanks! I always appreciate a compliment!
