must have known something even way back then! This is so cute!A favorite find was a letter from Grandpa George to his grandson Gentry on his first birthday. It starts halfway into the letter because I started reading it to the kids and got a bit choked up so Gentry finished it. I like hearing Gentry read it better anyway. It is so sweet.

Aw - ditto! What a special grandpa. I've heard stories from Beth and sure wish I could've met him. Sounds like quite a man. ... what a gift. It's cool with Home Home on the Range playing in the background.

There's a lot of wisdom in that letter. Grandpa never missed the opportunity to provide perspective. Thanks for posting this.
