I would have to say that I've never celebrated anything to the tune of "Turkey in the Straw" before but you all do it well. If the theories above are correct, congrats. I hope your carpal tunnel heals soon from signing all the papers. Of course, it never hurts as bad when you're on the selling side of the desk.
Of course, those theories about the house selling could be wrong. April 1 was also National Sourdough Bread Day, National Fun at Work Day and Tater Days began in Kentucky. All occasions worth celebrating with vigor.

Ok, so I'm busted for not having watched that video first. I made the mistake of watching it with Bowdrie the first time. He sure loves it - so much so that we watched it 14 more times! :-) I'm going to be humming Turkey in the Straw all day!

I have fond memories of painting with you and your mom, and sharing some wonderful laughter! I still miss her. With your recipes in here, I bet you are as good of a cook as she was. That would be saying a lot!
Congrats on selling your spec house. You could use sourdough, taters and fun as part of the celebration, along with turkey in the straw!
I loved the winter pictures, especially of Grant in the deep hole. It's always fun to throw in some adventure!
